To assist members with their card accounts, handle disputes with debit card fraud and other Card Services related services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Obtain and process fraud affidavits, and complete preliminary investigations.
Prepare and submit proper documentation to PSCU.
Receive and process restitution payments.
Complete close out packets for debit card fraud losses.
File with CUNA Mutual if there is a balance to recover.
Review FRIS report daily.
Take appropriate action necessary to contact members and restrict card activity.
Assist members and employees with debit card fraud/dispute claims and other Card Services related services.
Receive and maintain all files required for subpoenas and other legal notices pertaining to Debit Card fraud cases.
Performs other job related duties as assigned to assist in the successful operation of the Card Services Department, including receiving and processing emails and faxes from branches and other departments.
Experience:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
