(ACI) is seeking a full-time Maintenance Production Control Clerk to support field and sustainment level maintenance at Fort Rucker Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), located in Fort Rucker, AL.
The non-exempt job classification is covered under The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA) and the contract's collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.
S.
Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.
163(f), unless otherwise modified by a CBA between labor and management.
Job Summary This position involves customer interaction for processing production data entry for Motor Pool maintenance operations.
Compares customer records with established vehicle/equipment data for generating work orders for repair/maintenance using Government computer Systems Applications and Products (SAP) to include Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-ARMY).
Work order updates will be conducted daily to include entry of direct and indirect labor changes and status changes.
Clerk will procure Depot parts needed for maintenance activities, returnable supply items using GCSS-ARMY and track inventory of shop stock or bench stock.
Additional tasks include providing production reports based on data compiled, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, and compiling detailed production sheets or work orders for use by production workers as guides in repair or maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
Upon completion of work performed on vehicle/equipment, complete and close work orders, provide copy to customer file, and maintain completed actions.
Essential Functions Maintain positive customer interaction.
Accurately process and update work orders to meet contract requirements.
Requisition and receive repair parts/materials from Federal Supply System.
Sort and distribute work orders and repair parts/materials to workers.
Track work order and repair part/material statuses.
Compile and maintain parts/material data for inventory records.
Prepare any reports deemed necessary.
Maintain and archive historical files and documents.
Work cooperatively and jointly with all employees to provide quality, seamless customer service.
Marginal Functions:
Performs other related duties as required.
Practices physical security and is committed to safety practices.
Working Conditions Generally inside in a climate controlled office setting but may be subject to working outdoors during periods of inclement weather.
Works on concrete floors and in drafty areas.
May be exposed to fumes, fluids, dirt, etc.

Wearing of protective wear and other safety equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.
Physical and Mental Demands Including, but not limited to, sitting, standing, squatting, lifting (up to 50 pounds); carrying, walking; pushing and pulling.

Minimum Qualifications Five years of experience operating computerized maintenance management system.
Working knowledge of computerized maintenance-driven maintenance management system (SAP).
This positions will require the individual to possess and pass a background investigation to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
Personable customer service skills.
Specific positions will require GCSS-ARMY and Administrative Motor Pool Experience or related.
Proficient data entry with ability to type 50-55 wpm.
Proficient with email systems.
Must be able to create, compile, manage and use MS EXCEL spreadsheet files.
General office skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English as well as understand and interpret military technical manuals, bulletins, and contract language.
Must possess a valid state driver's license within 30 days.
Must possess material handling equipment license up to five-ton capacity if required, within 30 days or when directed/required.
Some positions may require individual to pass an annual physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications Eight years of experience operating computerized maintenance-driven maintenance management system (SAP).
Working knowledge in GCSS-ARMY and/or military background.
Exceptional data entry skill set.
Proficient use of MS EXCEL using formulas and pivot tables.
Ability to type 75 plus wpm.
Education High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED); Associates Degree, preferred.
